Our Mission
At Acoustic Loop Innovations, a subsidiary of Harmony Hearing & Speech Center, we differentiate ourselves from other New York hearing loop companies by integrating state of the art loop systems with old-fashioned hearing healthcare for adults and children with hearing loss. It is our mission to ensure that all users of our loop systems hear clearly in public venues as well as in the privacy of their own homes.
Leadership
Our company is run under the direction of Dr. Carol B. Letzter who has over twenty-five years of experience as a certified, licensed audiologist. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about helping individuals of all ages improve their hearing. She believes that by combining induction loops with outstanding hearing devices and compassionate thorough audiological services, she can offer individuals with hearing loss the opportunity to reach their optimal hearing potential.
As an advocate for the hearing impaired, Dr. Letzter is involved with every loop installation from inception to completion. Throughout this process, she evaluates each system from the perspective of the user ensuring that the individual will receive the system's maximum benefit.
Design Experts / Installers and Audiologists
Our design and installation team is certified in loop system design and installation and stringently follows the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 60118-4 standard for excellence. They use only the finest equipment available on the market and pride themselves in getting their jobs done efficiently. In the event that a problem occurs, they are also highly qualified to troubleshoot the situation.
Subsequent to every installation, a knowledgeable, licensed audiologist and our director will provide on-site training so that individuals can become familiarized with the workings of the induction loop system and how to successfully activate the T-coil setting in their hearing aids.
In addition, our audiologists will gladly provide personalized hearing evaluations and hearing aid assessments at either of the Harmony Hearing and Speech Center locations in New York City or Long Island.
